Flash Parties are ideal for groups of 4-8 guests and are a perfect way to get glam earlier in the day before a dinner reservation/ two-step class/ rollerskating date/ karaoke/ pole class/ drag bingo, or wherever else the wig may blow you!

What's included in a Flash Party?
The same goods and services you would receive at one of our private Wig Parties are provided during Flash Parties! All guests will get to try on wigs and select one (for keeps!), and receive our mini makeover (lids and lips). And use of our selfie station is also available, of course! The only difference between a Flash Party and a private party is that the shop is open to the public during Flash Parties, and for that reason, we ask that you not bring snacks while you're here (but beverages are welcome).
How many guests can we have?
Flash Parties are ideal for 4-8 guests. If you have fewer than 4, we recommend booking a Mini Sesh! More than 8? We suggest you book a private party.
When do Flash Parties occur?
Flash Parties happen during regular shop hours. Our typical time slots are 2p and 4pm, but we may be able to accommodate other start times, depending on our calendar. Let us know what time works best for you, and we'll do our best to make it happen!
How do I make a reservation?
First, we kindly ask that you fill out our Wig Party form; this helps us to have all of your info in one place. When we determine your requested date and time are available, we'll send you an invoice for your deposit; once paid, your reservation will be confirmed on our calendar. We'll ask for a final headcount and your remaining balance be paid one week before your party.
How long are parties?
Your party is 2 hours long. If you're running late, we may have to shorten your party, as not to run into another reservation, so please arrive on time (or 5 minutes early)!
Can we serve food and drinks?
Because our shop is open during Flash Parties, we ask that you not bring snacks. We welcome you to bring beer or wine, but please no mixed cocktails or anything requiring ice. There is a mini fridge for you to keep drinks cold. We do not provide glasses.*If you are planning on serving alcoholic beverages at your party, everyone in your group must be 21 years of age. And please consider having a taxi/Uber /Lyft orparty bus pick you up to shuttle you to your next destination!
What NOT to bring:
Please be conscious of your footprint while we are open to the public. There's a semi-private area for you to stash your small personal items, like a purse, but we are not responsible for items that go missing and ask you to leave any large decor or costume trunks at home :)
Do we get our makeup done there?
Our mini-makeovers include lids, and lips, so your guests should come with their base, brows and blush already good to go! If guests would like to add lashes, we have them available for $6-$12, depending on the style they choose. Our MUAs do not apply lashes brought from home.
Can we upgrade our wig to a more expensive one by paying the balance?
The wigs that are included in your package are high quality party wigs. If you fall in love with a wig that is not included, you'll have a $25 credit towards its purchase!
How many wigs can we try on?
We encourage everyone to keep the number of wigs they try on to between 1-3, so that we don't lose anyone to the Wig Vortex! The more you try, the harder your decision becomes, and we want to ensure everyone has time to find their dream hair!
What should we wear?
Wigs often inspire people to want to step away from their typical everyday wardrobe. Depending on whether you’re going for a “natural” look or something more colorful all depends on you! We do have a small collection of vintage clothes for purchase if you have a sudden wardrobe crisis brought on by your freshly altered ego.
Can we take photos when we're there?
Absolutely! We have a selfie mural with a ring light for gorgeous well-lit portraits. We also have an Instax instant camera available for rent for $30, which comes with one roll of 10 photos. Extra rolls available for $10; please give us a heads up if you'd like to rent, so we can make sure our battery is charged and we have ample film!
Is it customary to tip?
Yes! Gratuity is not included in the price of your party and is up to your discretion. Tips will happily be divided evenly among the staff that serves you.
Can we add more people to our party?
Yes! If you are planning on inviting extra people to your party, please give us a final head count one week prior to your party.
What if someone in the party doesn’t want a wig- do they still have to pay?
We encourage everyone who attends the party to participate! Even if that means stepping out of their “comfort zone” for a few hours, and putting on a wig. So yes, we charge by the “head.”
What is your cancellation policy?
Your deposit is non- refundable. If something comes up and you need to change your date, please give us at least 2 weeks notice. Failing to give proper notice will incur a $100 rescheduling fee.
Where do we park?
We have three parking spaces in the front of our building and two spaces, along with a handicap-designated spot in back. You can also find parking on one of our side streets, Anthony or Caney. Please do not park at our neighbor’s lots! We are located between Chicon and Robert T. Martinez, just east of Chapala Taqueria.
